- Lay Free Expression @ 1.9110/11 in the 13:55 Galway
- Back Domesday Brook @ 2.747/4 in the 15:15 Wexford
- Back Banish @ 8.615/2 @ in the 16:50 Kempton

We start with Free Expression, who is perhaps the most interesting horse running today, in the 13:55 2m6f Beginners Chase at Galway. Gordon Elliott's gelding has some fancy form from last season which was highlighted by a third to the ill-fated No More Heroes in the Grade 1 Drinmore Chase at Fairyhouse. This is his first run back after he suffered an injury setback last Christmas and he has been treated with caution in the market, drifting a little from 1.715/7 out to 1.9110/11. We're going to take him on today given that he may just need this run and in the fact that he has two very useful Gigginstown-owned horses in Nambour and A Genie In Abottle to contend with.

We move on to Wexford where there has been a positive move for Domesday Brook in the 2m7f Listed Chase at 15:15. Henry De Bromhead's lightly-raced six-year-old has been well supported from a high of 4.03/1 in to his current trading price of 2.747/4. The back money is significant here as this will be the son of Street Cry's first run of the season. He ended his novice campaign with a fine effort behind Avant Tout at Punchestown which was just his fifth run over fences and he has lots of scope to improve now as a second season chaser coming up in trip. Henry De Bromhead, who has booked Ruby Walsh for the ride, has enjoyed a fine start to the season and can continue his good run today.

For our each-way play we're going to Kempton for the 16:50 1m3f Handicap which looks like a fairly decent contest. Hugo Palmer's Banish was a little disappointing in the Old Rowley cup at Newmarket last time but has been well supported from 13.012/1 in to 8.615/2 on his return to the AW. A course and distance winner, Palmer has alluded that the son of Smart Strike is a much better proposition on the sand and he will also have the services of Champion jockey Jim Crowley.
