Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings Uttoxeter, Lingfield and Catterick...
We start off with our first back at Uttoxeter in the 14:50 2m Novices Hurdle where Tim Vaughan bids to take this race for the second year running with Number One London - he's been backed from 4.67/2 into 3.3512/5. A winner last time out at Newton Abbot in a race which he was held up and then kept on strongly to win by a comfy one and a quarter lengths, we fancy Richard Johnson's mount to take on the market leader from John Ferguson's yard in the name of Silent Movie - a horse that could only manage second last time on his hurdling debut.
Next up is our lay of the day in 15:40 2m Handicap at Lingfield, where The Cashel Man continues to drift from 1.981/1 out to 2.1411/10. He has won on his last two starts but only just managed to get up last time and was pushed along a fair way from home. Running off a career high mark off 74 today he may find the well-backed Amour De Nuit too good as Luke Morris continues his fine form.
Finally we are off to Catterick for the 16:00 6f Handicap where we are recommending Native Falls. The early price of 14.013/1 was snatched up very quick and he is now trading at nearly half his opening price 7.26/1. The drop to 5f looks very significant to this gelding after setting a brisk pace over 7f last time at Pontefract but failing to see the trip out. If snatching the lead again he could be difficult to peg back so we can see why the money has come pouring in.
