The markets have been reviewed, and today's three Follow The Money selections come from the meetings at Hexham and Wolverhampton...
We start at Hexham for the 3m Handicap Chase at 14:30. Sharivarry for the Victor Thompson yard has yet to win under rules but has an eye catching record in points this year having finished first or second in his last seven runs, four of which have been at this track. He could well take advantage of this low handicap mark and with market interest shortening his price from 13.5 in to 9.417/2 we feel he's well worth an each way bet.
Staying at Hexham for the 15:00 2m4f Handicap Hurdle which looks an interesting race in that nearly every horse in the market has had a significant move in one direction or another, however the move that has caught our eye is for the Anthony Honeyball trained Double Accord who has made the 341 mile trip up from Dorset. Although winning over 3m at Taunton last time this drop back in trip should suit and the faster ground will be ideal. Shis up 6lb for that last win but Jockey David Noonan claims 3lb back. With further improvement likely and her price shortening from 6.411/2 in to 4.94/1 we feel she's worth backing again today.
Finally over to Wolverhampton for their 6f Maiden Stakes at 15:15 where the Richard Hannon trained, Papa Luigi is attempting to win for the first time on his ninth attempt. On paper he clearly has the best form but he has not yet been able to get his head in front when it matters and the markets seems to have lost patience as his price has drifted from 2.526/4 out to 2.9215/8. This is his tapeta debut so it's difficult to assess how he will take to the surface. With a few others being backed in the market we are going to take him on today.
Back Sharivarry EW @ 9.417/2 in the 14:30 Hexham
Back Double Accord @ 4.94/1 in the 15:00 Hexham
Lay Papa Luigi @ 2.9215/8 in the 15:15 Wolverhampton
