Today's three Follow The Money selections comes from the meetings at Hereford and Wetherby...
We'll kick off with our lay which comes in the 13:40 3m1f Maiden Hurdle at Hereford in the shape of the Dan Skelton-trained No Hassle Hoff. The four-year-old has drifted significantly in the market this morning, having traded as low as 2.01/1 but now available to back at 3.1511/5. He looked set to win well before falling at the last on his sole racecourse appearance but he only had one runner to contend with that day and he has a lot more on his plate now. The Paul Nicholls-trained The Happy Chappy won both of his point-to-points while both Royals And Rebels and Back To The Thatch were also promising sorts between the flags. The drift for No Hassle Hoff in a race with a large amount of unknowns is significant and for that reason we're happy to take him on.
For our each-way play, we're going with Hint Of Grey, who has been well supported from 17.016/1 in to 8.415/2 in the 13:55 2m Maiden Hurdle at Wetherby. Similarly to the race mentioned above, this looks a race full of questions with over half the field making their debut over hurdles. Hint Of Grey is in that group so that he has been so well supported suggests he has been showing something for trainer Don Cantillon. He has won twice on the Flat and crucially has some form on soft ground so it would be no surprise at all to see him run well today.
For our final selection we go back to Hereford where it's no surprise that Fraser Canyon has received solid support - 7.87/1 in to 4.03/1 in the closing 15:50 2m3f Handicap Hurdle. Tim Vaughan's four-year-old is unexposed with just six runs over hurdles and comes into this off a career best effort last time at Fontwell. He did receive a 6lb rise for that effort but he could well be on an upward curve now and he can go close with similar conditions facing him today.
Lay No Hassle Hoff @ 3.1511/5 in the 13:40 Hereford
Back Hint Of Grey @ 8.415/2 in the 13:55 Wetherby
Back Fraser Canyon @ 4.216/5 in the 15:50 Hereford
