Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Lingfield and Newbury...
Our first back is Inner Drive which runs in the 14:10 2m5f Novice Hurdle at Newbury and has come in from 5.24/1 to 3.211/5. Wayne Hutchinson is on board for the Alan King yard. There is stiff competition from Champagne Express but Inner Drive was impressive on its hurdling debut and the slightly longer distance than last time out should be of benefit.
The second back is Meddling which runs in the 14:50 1m Handicap at Lingfield and has come in from [7.6 ] to [4.8 ]. Ridden by Hector Crouch for the Julia Feilden yard this is a two time winner over course and distance. Perfect Mission looks the one to beat but we feel that despite a degree of inconsistency Meddling should deliver the goods again this time out.
Our lay of the day is Mignolino in the 15:55 5f Handicap at Lingfield which has moved out from 2.8615/8 to 3.259/4 as a new favourite, Rio Ronaldo has emerged. Graham Gibbons rides for the David Barron yard. Mignolino has a reasonable record winning in a novice last year and again in a handicap this year before a third last time out but we expect it to be eclipsed today by the rapidly improving Rio Ronaldo.
