Today's Follow The Money selections run at Wetherby and Taunton...
"Off to Taunton 15:45, where Betfair Ambassador Paul Nicholls’ Virak has been singled out as the lay of the day. He's raised ten lbs as he scored by 42 lengths last time but with Venetia Williams’ eye-popping stable-form continuing, Leviathan is favoured in the market."
Stickleback was last seen at Wetherby two days after Christmas and ran really well to finish second (every other finisher had a claimer aboard). With three furlongs less to travel and 19lbs less to carry (Joe Colliver takes over today, claiming five lbs), Stickleback is set to enjoy herself, with the application of cheekpieces considered another plus. Connections must be hopeful, and she has halved in price to 5.14/1 in the 14:50.
We stay at Wetherby for the 15:25. It's a four-horse handicap, and the weak one in the market is Wood Yer. Note the opposition: Fill The Power was good enough to finish fifth of twenty-four in last year's Scottish national, while Camden seems either to win or not finish and Harris Hawk could improve on his third here last time out given the extra yards to travel. Trusting that class will tell, we're following the money and recommending a back of Fill The Power at 2.56/4 from 3.3512/5,

Local favourite Helium should also run well, so lay Virak at 3.55/2, out from earlier trades at 3.02/1.
