Today's Follow The Money selections come from the meetings at Uttoxeter, Gowran Park and Hamilton.
"Mango Diva won a Listed race at Salisbury on her last run (despite being very keen) and it looks like there could be a lot more to come from this unexposed filly."
We begin with a lay in the shape of Anger Management who has moved to 2.8615/8 from a low of 2.245/4 to win the 14:10 at Uttoxeter. Even with the services of champion jockey Tony McCoy booked, the selection has taken a worrying and slightly surprising drift in the market on what is the gelding's hurdles debut. There are a few interesting runners receiving significant market support, noticeably Exemplary who has shortened dramatically over night. At short odds in what could be a very open race we are happy to suggest a lay of Anger Management.
Our first positive comes in the 15:55 at Gowran Park where we're backing Mango Diva to win a first Group 3 after a solid move on the progressive three-year-old, currently trading at 3.052/1 from a high of 3.7511/4. Sir Michael Stoute's has had four winners from 10 runners in Ireland and with the extremely talented, and bang in-form, Johnny Murtagh in the saddle today it's clear a big run is expected. Mango Diva won a Listed race at Salisbury on her last run (despite being very keen) and it looks like there could be a lot more to come from this unexposed filly. There are question marks over all the other runners' form and we are happy to suggest a back bet at these odds.
We finish things off with the 16:20 at Hamilton with a back of High Resolution. Steadily backed throughout the morning, the selection is currently trading at 8.615/2 from a high of 12.14. In what looks a competitive handicap there is a lot to like about our selection. Four of High Resolution's five wins have come at this track and the ground should hold no worries judging on previous form. Very talented young jockey Connor Beasley is booked and he bring a valuable 5lb claim. Already 6lbs lower than when a good third here last month and having won this same race 12 months ago, High Resolution looks to have a great chance of repeating that win this year.
