Today's Follow The Money come from the meetings at Musselburgh and Brighton...
We start at Musselburgh in the 14:10 where Drive Home has seen strong support going from 10.519/2 in to 4.84/1. Noel Wilson's runner began the year in good form on the all-weather, but hasn't been as strong recently on the turf. There are however quite a few positives which look to be contributing his support today. The return to seven furlongs looks ideal, the cheekpieces are back on, and he's now dropped below his last winning mark. With this in mind, it looks like a much improved performance can be expected today.
Staying at Musselburgh for the 15:40, The Bells O Peover has been backed in from 5.04/1 in to 2.962/1. He backs up quickly from Epsom on Thursday where a return to front running tactics saw a much improved performance when second. Given this track suits that running style and he stays on the same mark, any repeat of that performance might be good enough to take this contest today.
Finally we move to Brighton for the 15:50 where Lisselan Pleasure has drifted from 2.486/4 out to 4.03/1. This former French runner is yet to win in Britain after 12 starts despite consistent performances. Her current mark leaves little room for error, so despite the fact she should be in the finish, her inability to finish in front looks to be the reason why punters are avoiding her today.
