Back Mysterious Wonder @ 2.01/1 Hamilton 14:20
Back Ginger Jack @ 5.59/2 Hamilton 16:10
Lay Red Cape @ 2.56/4 Hamiltoin 17:20

In the 14:20 a 6 furlong Maiden Stakes, Mysterious Wonder has seen significant support moving from 3.7511/4 into 2.01/1. Kevin Ryan's two-year-old son of Oasis Dream has his first run today in a race that the trainer has a 100 percent record in with two previous winners. With the added factor that the trainer has a current 23 percent strike rate at the Lanarkshire track, the signs are positive.

Now moving to the 16:10, a handicap over 1 mile, where Ginger Jack has seen support moving from [8.5 into 5.59/2. Geoffrey Harker's five-year-old gelding recorded his first win in nearly two years last month at Ayr over a shorter distance than today's contest. With all four previous wins being achieved over a mile, today's race would seem an ideal opportunity to post back to back wins for horse and jockey.

Finally, today's negative. In the 17:20, a five furlong claiming stakes, Red Cape has been easy to back moving out from 1.9520/21 to a current 2.56/4. Ruth Carr's nine-year-old gelding has had success on the polytrack but last tasted victory on the turf last July. Considering one of his main rivals today no longer runs, the drift appears to back up the theory that a fast six furlongs is his optimum race conditions. He won't get not that today.
