Our first selection of the day comes from Wincanton in the 15:40 2m6f Handicap Hurdle where Its Ruby has been heavily backed in from 14.013/1 in to 5.39/2. She has shown ability in bumpers where she was always there or there abouts and showed plenty of promise when third on her first two starts in novice hurdles in 2012. Although only finishing in midfield on her handicap debut at Newton Abbot last month, it was not as bad a result in reality as it would suggest on paper, seeing as it came off the back of a 21-month long absence. There's a good chance she may strip fitter here and the market support would certainly support that.

Our next selection of the day comes from Beverley in the 16:00 1m Handicap where Baraweez has been steadily backed in from 3.9 in to 2.942/1. He showed relatively good form in his four runs in France before making a promising debut over 7f at Doncaster for his new yard. He improved further when he was a convincing winner at Ayr over todays distance last month and has managed to get away with just a 3lb rise for today's race. Although this should prove a slightly stiffer test for him, it's one that should be well within his capabilities. The only question mark is surely the heavier going today, but he showed he can deal with a slower surface well enough back when racing in France and thus gets the nod today.

Our final selection of the day is another from Beverley, and it comes in the 17:00 7 ½ f Maiden Stakes where Dynamic Vision has drifted out this morning from 1.9620/21 out to 2.68/5. He remains open to improvement having been down the field at Newmarket on his debut and third at Lingfield last time out. He is untested at today's distance which should be a stiffer test of his stamina. Inheritance and Coin Broker would appear to be the obvious threats here, however the dangerous Abbey Village is due a much improved performance which would come of little surprise. An open race on paper, and we will take the market favourite on in this one.
