The markets have been reviewed, and today's three Follow The Money selections come from the meetings at Catterick, Kempton, and Southwell...
We start at Catterick for the 13:10 2m Handicap Chase where Dark And Dangerous has been steadily supported all morning from a high of 4.94/1 in to 3.259/4.
Although Brendan Powell's mount has not been seen over the fences since March he warmed up for this with a run on the flat last month. Previous winner over course and distance off this same mark of 105 having previously been as high as 128. There is not much else to get excited about in the race with maybe the bottom weight Pindar being the major threat, however the market has not responded to this. Having travelled over 200 miles for this race and with strong market support we are siding with Dark And Dangerous today.
Moving to Kempton for their first race at 14:20 where the market expects the Jamie Osborne trained, Oratorios Joy to return to winning ways having been backed into favourite from a high of 8.71 to a current 4.94/1.
She should be fitter for her last run after returning from a four and a half month break and is now back to her previous winning mark. With Adam Kirby booked to ride we cannot ignore the market move and recommend getting involved with a back today.
Over to Southwell for their last race a 6f Handicap at 15:30 where Thorpe Bay has drifted from 3.1511/5 out to 4.3100/30.
He has not been in the winners enclosure all year and he may well find it hard to change that today having been hiked in the weights for a second place at Wolverhampton recently. He's now off a career high mark of 73 with his highest winning mark being 65. This is a fairly competitive race with massive support coming for Pennine Warrior having been backed from around 9.08/1 in to 5.79/2. With this in mind and a few others with chances we are offering Thorpe Bay up as our lay of the day.
Back Dark And Dangerous @ 3.259/4 13:10 Catterick
Back Oratorios Joy @ 4.94/1 14:20 Kempton
Lay Thorpe Bay @ 4.3100/30 15:30 Southwell
