Today's Follow the Money comes from Salisbury and York.
At Salisbury, in the 14:40, Magic Channel has been drifting all morning from 2.26/5 out to 2.68/5. Richard Hannon has three runners in this race and the jockey bookings suggest Magic Channel is the pick of the trio with Richard Hughes taking the ride. With no form to go on and the stable's juveniles a bit slow to get off the mark this season, punters are happy to take on the short price favourite today.
In the 15:35 at York, Pearl Secret has been strongly supported from 2.26/5 in to 1.84/5. David Barron's sprinter made his debut here last year and showed blistering speed when winning a 5f maiden without coming off the bridle. His second start came last month at Doncaster where he raced off a mark of 85 and again he cruised to the front and won without too much effort. He looks a horse to follow this season and it's difficult to look past the unbeaten colt and he is a confident selection to make it three wins from three starts.
Our final selection is back at Salisbury, in the 16:2, where Generalyse has been supported from 15.014/1 in to 8.88/1. Has shown some form in his last two runs in maidens and made his handicap debut back in November where he finished fifth to today's favourite Royal Reyah and did best of those drawn in single figures that day. He looked the sort to improve over the winter and, with today's better ground also in his favour, he has a chance of getting his first win if he is fit enough after a 194-day break.
