This afternoon's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Stratford and Doncaster...
"Taking a significant drop in class today Valcanite can add to his impressive win rate of eight wins from his 25 starts."
We begin at Stratford with our first positive of the afternoon, which comes in the 2.30 in the form of Little Jimmy after significant support moved his early price of 2.56/4 in to 2.1411/10. Felix De Giles takes the ride for Tom Gretton, 2lb better off than his last victory and with better ground this time round we fancy he will prove difficult to beat.
Our next selection also runs at Stratford, this time in the 15:40. Charlie Longsdon's Valcanite is the pick after steady support has moved him from an early 10.519/2 in to a current 6.86/1. Taking a significant drop in class today he can add to his impressive win rate of eight wins from his 25 starts. Last seen running on desperate ground at Ascot, he is set to enjoy himself much more today with Noel Fehily on board.
Our lay of the day runs in the 16:25 at Doncaster. Selection Hymenaios has been easy to back this morning, drifting out from an early 2.3611/8 to a current 2.767/4. The Richard Hannon-runner was a beaten favourite when last seen over the mile trip at Goodwood back in August and support for John Gosden' debutant Romsdal looks very interesting.
Back Little Jimmy @ 2.1411/10 in the 14:30 at Stratford
Back Vulcanite @ [6.6 ] in the 15:40 at Stratford
Lay Hymenaios @ 2.89/5 in the 16:25 at Doncaster
