Betfair's Follow the Money for Wednesday April 25. Today's movers come from the meetings at Epsom and Perth.
Jamesway is ideally drawn towards the stands side...
We start at Epsom for the opening five furlong handicap at 14:15 and Jamesway is now trading at 6.806/1 from 8.12. The soft ground looks certain to play a big part in today's racing and Richard Fahy's four-year-old finished second on his only start under these conditions. He was only beaten three-quarters-of-a-length in the Epsom Dash last year against older sprinters and he's three pounds lower now. He is also ideally drawn towards the stands side which is normally advantageous for both the five furlong sprints and soft conditions.
There are not too many market drifters towards the head of today's markets but Kruzhlinin is now out to 2.1411/10 from 1.738/11 in the maiden hurdle over two miles and four furlongs at 14:00. The drift in price looks to come from the fact that today's conditions are unlikely to suit as he won his point to point on good ground and his two recent seconds were also on good. Avenging Ace is his main market rival and Donald McCain's gelding is a soft ground point winner.
Finally, we go back to Epsom for the one mile handicap at 17:00 and Talk Of The North has been showing some very strong support into 4.904/1 from 13.19. Hugo Palmer's filly showed some real promise in her three runs as a two-year-old, including a third place finish on soft ground. The market support would suggest that her followers believe she is on a nice mark for her handicap debut.
