Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Lingfield and Ripon.
Incendiary has been well supported in to 10.09/1 from 16.015/1.
At Lingfield, in the 14:20 5f Maiden Stakes, Bridge Night has drifted out to 2.9215/8 from 1.9210/11. The filly made her debut with a respectable third at Windsor and her price 25/1 suggested that not too much was expected. This is a relatively weak class five maiden race and her main market rival appears to be the unraced gelding Lord Avonbrook. With so little form to go on it is difficult to draw any firm conclusions, she may have the best form of what is shown but she has not ridden at Lingfield before and the market drift suggests little confidence in Bridge Night and she may have to wait before winning a maiden race.
In the 16:20 7f handicap, Incendiary has been well supported in to 10.09/1 from 16.015/1. The colt has a wide draw (13) to overcome but he does have the benefit of being ridden by George Baker. The horse has won over course and distance and this should be an easier race than the one he ran at Newmarket last time out.
Finally, at Ripon in the 17:10 Class 5 handicap over 1m 4f, Coral Sands has been supported in to 4.904/1 from 7.85. The step up in trip may suit, his sire Foostepsinthesand won the 20000 Guineas and he does carry a low weight 8st 9lb which should help his cause today. The jockey has a 20 percent strike rate when riding Alan Swinbank's horses for a substantial level stakes profit 88pts and if he can handle the step up in trip, he looks one of the more likely winners today.
