Today's Follow The Money bets run at Nottingham, Lingfield and Kempton.

We start with the 14:10 Maiden Stakes at Nottingham (1m½f, 2yo) where Istikshaf has been backed in from a high of 3.814/5 and is now trading at 2.546/4. Saeed bin Suroor's colt is related to numerous winners and has shown a lot of promise in his two starts so far, with the form of his second behind Mount Logan at Yarmouth last time out setting the standard here. It is also worth noting that the yard won this race last year and with little money for any of the newcomers the market suggests it could go their way again today.

Next we go to the 16:40 Handicap at Lingfield where Grandiloquent has been backed in from a high of 12.5 and is now available to back at 5.24/1. Kevin Ryan's gelding is without a win in 12 attempts since scoring in a Newcastle Handicap off a mark of 81 in May last year, but has dropped rapidly down in the weights as a consequence. A previous Polytrack winner, he races off a career low mark of 57 today and backers clearly fancy him to find the necessary improvement with the step up in distance from 1m4f to 2 miles.

Our lay selection comes in the 19:10 7f Maiden Stakes at Kempton where Miss Brazil has drifted from an adjusted 2.81 out to 3.613/5. She has shown enough promise so far in three starts to win a race in time, however with an official rating of 73 she may be better suited to Nursery company as she is always likely to bump in to one or two too strong in maiden races such as these. Indeed, this could prove the case again today as there are some interesting sorts in opposition including Godolphin newcomer Quoth and also Pelerin, a 52,000 gns yearling and half-sister to a useful all-weather winner and it's worth looking out for any late money for these two throughout the day.
