The Follow The Money team have reviewed today's markets and they have come up with these three selections from the meetings at Carlisla and Southwell...
We start with our first selection of the day in the 16:05 at Southwell where Investissement has seen early money to move it from 5.39/2 in to 4.03/1. Previously useful on the flat the horse has come on well for the switch to hurdles and has shown a noticeable improvement since moving to the in-form Charlie Longsdon yard, where he finished just outside the places for his first run for his new stable. Richard Johnson has been booked for today's ride and if he can replicate his form of old to hurdles then he should have a strong claim today.
We move to Carlisle for our next selection where the Tony McCoy ridden Milan Bound has attracted support in the 13:50, moving his odds from a high of 2.68/5 in to 2.186/5. Starting for the first time since February when he won an Irish bumper very impressively, he will make his debut over hurdles today. Bought for a large sum in the spring, connections must be confident of a big run and he should relish the step up in trip. On paper it looks like a two horse race but the market support and the champion jockey on board should see him put in an impressive debut over hurdles.
We stay at Carlisle for the lay of the day where Finding Your Feet has been a drifter in the 15:55 race. A negative move in the exchange has seen the horse drift from 2.6613/8 out to 3.3512/5. The Jonjo O'Neil trained horse is yet to get off the mark and win a race although he did run a close second last time out. Stable jockey McCoy has been booked to ride but others look more appealing at bigger prices in this handicap hurdle. With a couple of the runners looking to put in decent efforts for their new yards and support being seen elsewhere, the drifting favourite should struggle today in a competitive race.
