We start the day with a lay at Haydock, where The Brock Again has been easy to back in the 13:55. Starting at 2.568/5 this one has drifted out to 2.767/4 for this Listed contest.

Making his debut for the Nicholls yard last time out saw the horse finish a respectable third in a decent contest at Sandown. Prior to that run the horse had run all his races in France where he failed to get off the mark in his three races over hurdles, tiring on the run-in each time. Although the horse will no doubt come on for his previous run today the preference is for Oscarteea, who has notable form when finishing midfield in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham in March, and was last seen winning easily at Ffos Las just under a fortnight ago. At the prices others look better value than the favourite in this field so we're happy to take this one on, the lay is the call.

Over to the 14:15 at Ffos Las for our first back where Champagne Rian has been well supported. Prices as high as 17.016/1 were available this morning but the horse is now just 9.28/1.

Making his chasing debut today this 6yo looks to get back on form after a couple of disappointing runs last season. He did show early promise when putting in two solid efforts in his novice events over hurdles when placing on both occasions but then appeared to struggle when stepping up to handicaps when finishing well behind the winners in his next two races. There is still optimism about this one though, trainer Rebecca Curtis has a prolific 24% strike rate here at Ffos Las and conditional jockey Keith Coogley claims 10lbs for the ride. The market support could be significant and at the price there looks to still be a bit of value to be had.

Next we move over to the 14:40 at Ascot where we will look to back the well supported Niceonefrankie. Early prices of 4.03/1 have been snapped up and he is now trading at 2.9215/8.

Last seen back in April this 8yo's form seemed to tail off a little at the back end of last season. With that said though the horse seems to cherish the break in the summer and his last seasonal reappearance saw him triumph by 13 lengths in this race last season. Venetia Williams' chaser is on the same mark as that last course and distance success and we, as well as the punters, expect the horse to put in another commanding display here.
