All today's Follow The Money Movers run at Ascot.
"Dutch Art Dealer is running for a stable with a good strike-rate for juveniles this season - including a 2-year-old winner at Royal Ascot last month."
Our first selection of the day runs in the 14:30 Maiden Stakes opener at Ascot. In a race where market indication is a big factor Dutch Art Dealer is shaping up to be an easy pick, with this Paul Cole-trained Colt being backed in to 5.49/2 from 12.011/1. Add the fact that he is running for a stable with a good strike-rate for juveniles this season - including a 2-year-old winner at Royal Ascot last month - and all signs are pointing to a very successful maiden.
It's all Ascot today and we look at the 15:40 Handicap for our lay where Grand Denial has seen a drift from 3.66 out to 4.77/2. This gelding hasn't always impressed with his attitude and the return to handicaps should ask some tough questions. With the likes of Ceelo, Surge Ahead and Tartary in the field he should see competition for the lead so we feel this is a favourite to take on.
We end the day with the closing race at Ascot, a Handicap at 17:20, where Dutch Masterpiece has been backed in to 6.411/2 from 8.88/1. He was a progressive youngster winning three from four as a juvenile and is firmly on the up at present, having the run of the race at Chester and following that up with an impressive win at Newmarket last time out. He's up 6lbs for his latest win and he's facing older horses for the first time, on the first run at this track but Ryan Moore appears confident of getting the best out of this gelding and they should complete a Dutch masterpiece for owner Richard Green.
