Back Grazed Knees in the 14:30 at Leicester @ 5.69/2
Back Kastini in the 16:15 at Leicester @ 5.14/1
Lay Southfield Theatre in the 16:25 at Sandown @ 3.185/40

We start at Leicester for our first positive where Grazed Knees has been well backed from 11.521/2 in to 5.69/2 in the 14:30. Mind Of Madness was an impressive 2-year-old debutant winner for his trainer David Brown this season so he should have a good idea what to expect from this Majestic Missile colt today. There is plenty of speed in the pedigree with his half-brother Beau Mistral being a smart handicapping sprinter and his father who was no slouch in his juvenile season, an impressive winner of the Cornwallis at Ascot. The Richard Hannon-trained debutants are always feared and Andrew Elliot who takes just the one ride at the track today will be hoping his mount is slightly sharper than the market favourite Kool Kompany.

We stay at Leicester for our second positive mover where the Dennis Coakley-trained Kastini has been supported in to 5.14/1 from 8.415/2 in the 16:15. The Halling gelding was successful over 1m3f at Lingfield last season and was equally impressive when a length second at Salisbury in heavy conditions with a further 12 lengths back to the third. Supporters of our selection seem to be confident he is ready to run with credit after a break and will be hoping the in-form Jimmy Fortune can steer the 4-year-old to victory in what looks a weak contest.

We go to Sandown for our negative mover of the day where Southfield Theatre has drifted from 2.6613/8 out to 3.185/40 in the 16:25. Paul Nicholls' charge was an impressive second in the Pertemps Final at the Cheltenham Festival when narrowly beaten by Fingal Bay and there is no doubt that battle would have taken a lot out of the horse who was having his sixth start of the season. In opposition to our negative selection is the Alan King-trained Medinas who was thought good enough to contest the world hurdle at the festival and the Nicky Henderson trained Polly Peachum who was impressive when winning a Listed Mares Hurdle on her latest start. The hard season and the fresh in-form opponents look reason enough to oppose Southfield Theatre today.
