Today's Follow The Money selections span all three of this afternoon's meetings at Yarmouth, Lingfield and Exeter...
We get the ball rolling today in the 14:10 at Exeter where Masters Hill has been well supported from 5.85/1 in to 3.185/40. Running for the in-form Colin Tizzard the selection already has chasing experience and in fact won over a 3 mile trip last October before presumably suffering a setback, when pulled up running at Cheltenham shortly after. Good things seem to be expected for this horse and the strong support in the market would certainly support that theory. With un-exposed favourite Lumpys Gold taking a walk in the market, we are happy to suggest Masters Hill may be able to continue his progress at Exeter today.
We move over to Lingfield for our next selection which comes in the form of Courageous Rock in the 15:00. Steadily drifting this morning from 1.774/5 out to 2.35/4 the early signs are not overly positive that more is to come after, albeit, a fairly promising debut fifth at Doncaster last month. In what looks potentially a tricky race on paper, with not much form to go off, the market move does seem fairly significant and Courageous Rock looks well worth taking on at what appears a skinny price.
Finally we head to Yarmouth for the last race on their card, the 17:20. Caramelita has been well supported from 11.521/2 in to 7.87/1 and it is easy to see why. Having dropped to what looks a good mark, this looks like a fantastic opportunity for her to get her head in front, with the testing ground a major help. She is also a course and distance winner and the jockey booking of Silvestre de Sousa is really eye catching. Taking all of this in to account, she looks sure to be in with a major chance at a large price.
