The markets have been reviewed and today's three Follow The Money selections come from the Irish flat meeting at the Curragh...
We start with the opening race from the Curragh at 14:10 and the Jim Bolger trained filly Alertness has drifted from 2.0421/20 out to 2.447/5. This stable has won this race for the past three years and have two runners entered today. Stable jockey Kevin Manning takes the ride on Alertness but fillies do not have a great record in this race, nine of the last 12 winners have been colts. We think she will get outpaced today as she is bred to get further and we feel she is worth opposing at such short prices.
Our next selection is in 15:10 where Seal Rock has been supported from 17.016/1 in to 9.89/1. He has failed to place in his seven starts so far for trainer Andrew Oliver, his last victory came in 2012 for previous trainer by Henry Candy where he won off a mark of 95. That win came on soft ground over today's trip of six furlongs and we feel he has a good chance of going well today racing off a mark of 78.
The final pick comes in the 16:10 where Third Dimension has been well supported from 11.521/2 in to 6.05/1. He had three maiden runs for trainer Ger Lyons last season and showed very little despite being sent off favourite on his racecourse debut. His last two efforts were over one mile and on both occasions he weakens in the final furlong, so the drop back to seven furlongs today could see some improvement and the market support suggest he will go well on his handicap debut today.
