It's another Glorious Goodwood special from the Follow The Money team with all three of today's selections coming from the Sussex venue...
We start with our lay. Highland Reel showed the benefit of his debut run when running away with a Gowran Park Maiden on his second start, recording a 12 length verdict. He is understandably a strong favourite here but the market is uneasy on his chances. He's drifted from 1.84/5 out to 2.26/5 and whilst there are no obvious negatives, there are plenty of unexposed colts in opposition on this step up in grade and he is opposable at a short price.
Our first back comes in the 16:15 Goodwood. Charlie Hills trained Hundi is bred for the job, related to five winners and she attracted plenty of support before her debut at Newmarket. Unfortunately she hadn't read the script and totally missed the break. The energy she used to recover, took its toll at the business end but she wasn't given a hard time and is capable of much better. The market again likes her chance, backing her in from 7.06/1 in to 5.39/2 and with that experience under her belt she should go well for her in form stable.
The strongest move of the day comes in the 16:50 Goodwood. The Ralph Beckett trained Principle Equation has strengthened from 10.05 in to 6.611/2 favouritism. She was runner up behind useful sorts in her first two starts and got off the mark at Windsor last time, staying on well for a convincing win. Today she encounters fast ground for the first time but if the market vibes are accurate the quicker underfoot conditions won't be a problem and her stable excels with the fairer sex.
