Lay Girl Of Cadiz @ 4.77/2 Windsor 14.50

Back Back Burner @ 10.519/2 Curragh 15.05

Back Macdillon @ 5.04/1 Salisbury 15.30

We start at Windsor where Girl Of Cadiz has drifted from 3.11 to 4.77/2 in the 14.50 1m Handicap. She has finished second her last two times over shorter but does have form that suggests she'll get the mile. Richard Hughes, when given the choice, preferred Sam Spade. That one is now a non-runner but the money suggests there are still others who can deny her for winning again.

We move to Ireland, and the Curragh, where there has been a big move for Back Burner in the 15:05 1m Handicap. As high as 19.34 earlier this Edward Lynam gelding is now 10.519/2. Of the £14k traded on the market this runner has two thirds of the money matched, yet is only joint fourth favourite. The horse is way down the handicap, compared to his old form, and he looked like he might have recaptured some of that spark last time out. He still needs a lot more improvement but he certainly seems to be worthy of a watch as his price continues to come in.

Finally we finish up at Salisbury where Macdillon has seen steady support. 8.415/2 earlier he is now 5.04/1 to take the 15.30 5f Handicap. He went close over this trip a few times in 2012 and hasn't really shown much since. Back then he ran in blinkers and there back on today with the addition of a tongue tie. The market suggests that might be all it takes to see this one lead the field home as this Stuart Kittow gelding is now a one-point clear favourite.
