Lay Srinager Girl at 3.412/5 in the 14:40 Redcar. She is one of the lesser lights at Warren Place, starting at 25/1 when she made her debut on the AW. She outran her odds to finish a close second that day but when she made her reappearance she disappointed in the mud. No going concerns today but she has been weak in the market since opening at 2.982/1. No doubt Sir Henry Cecil will give Srinagar Girl plenty of time, so a lay is advised for today. Lilargh should provide good opposition and the race may show one or two other fillies in a good light.

Bedloes Island ran a good race at York last week and rates a solid proposition if bringing that form to today's easier race at 15:40. He's strong in the betting too, moving from 5.04/1 to 4.03/1, despite an influential tipping line recommending another in this race. There's a fair chance of Bedloe's Island adding to his record of two wins and a second from four runs at Redcar.

We cannot ignore the heavy support for Space Telescope in the 15:50 at Newton Abbot, now 4.03/1 from 10.45. The famous owner/jockey/trainer combination would appear to have found the right race for this unsung son of Galileo.
