This afternoon's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Ludlow and Wolverhampton.
"Sciustree has been steadily improving in maidens at Wolverhampton over today's 7f trip and was third last time out. Backed from 5.59/2 in to 4.1 to win the 16:10, we expect his experience over today’s rivals to tell."
First off today we head to Ludlow for the 15:50 2m Handicap Chase. Selection Uranium has been well backed this morning, currently trading at 5.24/1 from a high of 6.611/2. Impressive in defeat last time out, we fancy him to come on for the run on only his third start for the yard. Before his two-year layoff he was twice runner-up at Auteuil over 2m 5f and the market support gives further encouragement that today will be his day.
Over to Wolverhampton for today's second positive. Selection Sciustree has been steadily improving in maidens at Wolverhampton over today's 7f trip and was third last time out. Backed from 5.59/2 in to 4.1 to win the 16:10, we expect his experience over today's rivals to tell.
Finally we return to Ludlow for today's negative in the 16:20 2m Maiden Hurdle. Seven Nation Army has proven easy to back this morning drifting from 2.226/5 out to the currently trading 2.767/4. Beaten last time out by Nicky Henderson charge Clean Sheet, we expect Henderson's yard to strike twice and confirm superiority today with market principle One For The Guv'nr likely to dominate.
