Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Kempton and Leopardstown.
"Ground and distance offer every chance of building on a quietly promising run three weeks ago, and she is popular in the market, moving from 12.5 to 8.415/2."
Barwah was the early favourite for the 14:05 at Kempton, having won just four days ago over course and distance, but she's been pushed out aggressively from 2.56/4 to 4.84/1. If she reproduces her form, she is capable of making light of another wide draw and a 6lb hike, but there is a danger that Barwah is returning to action too soon to put her best foot forward. Given the marked price-slide, we'll side with safety and lay her for a place at 1.855/6 in this race of ten-runners, of which Tychaios has been the best supported of the opposition
Over to Leopardstown for our first back at 15:20, Mireya. The eight-year-old mare gave her rider Katherine Jane Harrison an emotional victory in October 2013, winning over 14f at Galway. Today Miss Harrison will be hoping Mireya can provide her first victory as a trainer. Ground and distance offer every chance of building on a quietly promising run three weeks ago, and she is popular in the market, moving from 12.5 to 8.415/2.
Aldeburgh has rock-solid support in the 16:05 at Kempton, backed in from 6.411/2 to 4.84/1. He returns on the back of a victory over course and distance, his first run for current trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies. He overcame trouble in-running that day and again has the services of jockey David Probert. Chief danger could be Ze King, who goes well fresh and has also attracted morning money.
Lay Barwah for a place @ 1.855/6 in the 14:05 at Kempton
Back Mireya @ 8.415/2 in the 15:20 at Leopardstown
Back Aldeburgh @ 4.84/1 in the 16:05 at Kempton
