Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Newmarket and Newcastle
The 15:40 at Newmarket is a competitive 7f Handicap and there has been steady support for Amanda Perrett's runner Czech It Out, in from 6.411/2 to 4.84/1. After being dropped 4lb following his seasonal debut he came close to victory at Goodwood last week, only beaten on the line by Red Fraction. This has prompted the handicapper to raise him 3lb as of tomorrow, so he is running under his mark today. There could be more to come from this lightly raced gelding who goes well on soft ground and with the yard showing signs of a return to form he gets our support today.
Staying at Newmarket for the 17:25 1m2f Handicap where there has been strong market support for Tilstarr, from 3.259/4 in to 2.546/4. Roger Teal's runner ran well at Sandown last week on her return to turf after winning on the all-weather. The step up in distance should suit and she will love the soft ground. With Richard Hughes on board and running off a competitive mark the market seems to feel she's the one to beat today.
Out lay of the day comes in the 17:35 1m Handicap at Newcastle, where the favourite Bourbon Prince has been drifting from 2.68/5 out to 3.8514/5. Although a creditable second on his handicap debut he did not look as good on the all-weather at Wolverhampton latest and is now on a 4lb higher mark. In what looks a fairly weak race a couple of the others do have some solid form especially Richard Guest's It's All A Game and the market suggests Bourbon Prince is vulnerable.
