The final Follow The Money of 2013 comes from the meetings at Lingfield and Uttoxeter.
Our first positive of the day comes in the form of Applejack Lad in the 13:00 at Lingfield. After a strong course and distance second over the weekend, backers are snapping up the early value on John Ryan's gelding, with his price falling from a high of 6.411/2 into a current price of 3.8514/5. This is quite an open race with the obvious danger arguably Irish Tears, a beaten favourite last time out here at Lingfield. Off of the same mark as three days ago, we recommend backing Adam Kirby to come out on top today.
It's over to Uttoxeter for our lay of the day in the 13:40, where Lord Of House has drifted from a morning low of 3.412/5 out to 3.953/1. Charlie Mann's four-year-old won recently at Wincanton but runs under a 7lb penalty this afternoon. With support coming for the dangerous Tresor De Bontee, who has won two of his last three starts over hurdles and lookes destined to make a good chaser, the signs point towards laying Lord Of House in this one.
We're back at Lingfield for our second positive of the day in the 14:00 1m Handicap. Mister Musicmaster, with William Carson on board, has been steadily backed from a high of 12.27 in to a noticeable 7.413/2. Although slightly off par since returning in October, money has come for the four-year-old this morning with backers hoping he can return to his impressive earlier in the year when landing a 1m handicap brace. Fleckerl is the obvious danger in this one but we recommend backing Mister Musicmaster to end the year on song.
