The Follow The Money team have reviewed today's markets and they have come up with these three selections for your consideration...
We start the day at Newmarket where we find our first back in the 14.20 6f Listed race. Having her second start today, Majeyda has received strong support from 3.711/4 in to 3.39/4. This two-year-old filly by Street Cry will be looking to make it two from two today having won in impressive fashion at Leicester a fortnight ago. The ability shown suggests she could well live up to her Group 3 winning dam Alzerra and the market speaks highly in her favour today.
We find our negative in the 16.50 at Newcastle, Whispering Warrior has drifted out to 3.39/4 from a low of 2.68/5. David Simcock's charge has notched up a total of four wins from eight starts so far in his career, with the most recent being at York last month over 1m2f on good ground. However, this colt by Oasis Dream has gone up 8lbs in the handicap and is running off top weight today. With the lack of market confidence and the unknown soft going to contend with, Whispering Warrior looks one to take on.
Heading back to Newmarket for our second positive, in the 17.05 1m4f Fillies Handicap there has been steady support for Alta Lilea from a high of 12.011/1 in to 7.613/2. Mark Johnston's runner is having her seventh start and is looking for her third career win having won at Catterick back in April over today's trip. This three-year-old filly has underperformed in her two starts since then, in an Oaks trial and a Class 2 Handicap. However, her mark is back down to April's winning mark, and today's drop back into a class 3 race plus the market support suggests she could well be back in the winners enclosure today.
