Two backs and one lay as ever from our friends at Follow The Money. Hexham and Pontefract are the venues for today's bets. Good luck!
Today's Follow The Money movers come from the cards at Hexham and Pontefract.
We start at Hexham in the 14:30 Selling Hurdle over 3m where Manger Hanagment has drifted out to 1.768/11 from 1.341/3.Manger Hanagment has won five of his last six races. As impressive as that is, he did lose last time out at Cheltenham, finishing 45 lengths behind. It is a little bit surprising to see him in a Selling Hurdle and it may be indicative of possible difficulties in training. He has not ridden for 253 days and does seem to perform better on good ground, the forecast heavy ground may also not be entirely suitable. He may have enough class to overcome it but he's still worth opposing.
Over to Pontefract in the 14:40 Fillies' Handicap over 1m Kathlatino has been supported in to 5.905/1 from 8.07/1. The filly finished second last time out at Ayr in a class 5 fillies handicap on good, so the form and the recent run is encouraging. The main question is whether she can adapt to the forecast soft ground and using her previous runs as a guide, she does tend to perform worse the softer the ground becomes.
Finally at Hexham in the 16:30 Handicap Hurdle over 2m, Acknowledgement has been heavily backed in to 5.905/1 from 9.70. Acknowledgement has been off since December 2010 and did win at Bangor by 17 lengths off 10lb lower. The betting would suggest that he is up for the task today and the forecast heavy ground should not be too much of a problem as his victory on Bangor was on soft ground. But he does need to show his better form as his recent performances have not been too impressive on the All Weather.
