Today's Follow The Money comes from this afternoon's meetings at Exeter and Southwell.
We start with our lay of the day, which comes in the 12:50 at Exeter, where Centasia has backed down from 2.447/5 to 2.1411/10. She ran well enough to win last time out but Molly's A Diva - also running here - was poor on that occasion and we expect the latter to improve on that showing, while Woodland Walk and Blue Buttons have chances. We have ten other runners who could improve markedly and, at the prices, Centasia could look skinny on the run for home.
Next up is Mixologist in the 13:20 at Exeter, who has been well backed from an early 3.25 to 2.66. He ran really well last time out 22 lengths clear of the third when finishing a second on its seasonal handicap debut at Fontwell. Will strip fitter today and should give us a good run off bottom weight. Gavin Sheehan enhances chances with a handy 3lb claim.
Finally we have seen decent money for Greyfriarchorista in the 14:00 at Southwell, who has been backed in from 9.63 to 5.39/2. Greyfriarchorista returns to fibresand after two unplaced efforts on turf/polytrack. Has won twice with two placed efforts from four runs on this surface. The booking of Graham Lee suggests that a big run is expected and the top weight can show his class in this grade. The drop back to seven furlongs should be fine.
