Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Fairyhouse and Ludlow.
"This previous course winner has been slowly creeping towards a winning mark..."
Our win selection goes in the very first race of the day, the 12:15 at Fairyhouse, where Dakota Moirette has been well-supported from 6.611/2 into 3.65 and finds himself at the top of the market in a tightly-contested hurdle. The Joseph O'Brien double act of Zig Zag and Lord Justice are credible rivals today as is Gavin Cromwell's Prospectus, who beat our selection when the two met last. But today's market support seems notable and improved performances since, including beating stablemate Icario, who was a decent second last week against a smart Henry De Bromhead horse.
Our lay selection runs in the 13:15 at Fairyhouse, where Call The Taxie has been drifting steadily in the market having traded at a low of 2.021/1 but currently trading at 2.89/5 on the machine. Ellmarie Holden has had some interesting runners of late and a decent win at the course a week-and-a-half ago, but the lack of market support is worrying, with money coming for the opposition including Champagne Classic who is up in trip and Mighty Stowaway in what looks an interesting race.
We end the day at Ludlow as Butlergrove King has seen some noticeable market support in betting on the 14:15, currently trading at 7.613/2 in from 14.013/1. This previous course winner has been slowly creeping towards a winning mark, while some of today's opposition such as Winged Crusader tackling a 10lb rise in the weights. With an improved performance last time out we expect this gelding to get among the places at least come the winning post.
Back Dakota Moirette @ 3.65 in the 12:15 at Fairyhouse
