Follow The Money: Goonjim to reward backers at Exeter

In what appears to be a two horse race there is sustained market support for the Alan King-trained Label Des Obeaux and, with form in better company than he faces today, including a fine second over course and distance to a higher-rated horse, he appears to be the selection to back.

We move to Warwick for today's each-way selection, in the 3m Handicap Chase at 16:45. Shanroe Santos has attracted early support from 8.88/1 into 6.411/2. On his last appearance over this distance he was just beaten over one-and-a-half lengths into second, but pulled well clear of the rest of the field and stayed on well. He should relish today's soft ground and with this being only his fifth start over fences, he's still relatively unexposed. Available to back each way at 6.25/1 this is a solid each way bet.

On his last appearance he was the subject of a huge gamble but failed to justify the support coming 11 lengths third to a horse 8lbs better off in the ratings. He travelled supremely well that day and the drop back in trip today should suit, along with the experience gained last time out. We are confident that this horse carrying the bottom weight can repay connections today.
