Today's Follow the money selections comes from the meetings at Taunton, Lingfield and Doncaster...
We begin with our each bet which is Garo De Juilley in the 13:45 at Taunton, heavily supported from 9.08/1 into 5.69/2. The Paul Nicholls trained five-year-old showed good form in France before two below par efforts after joining the yard. Not seen since November when sent off as warm favourite to land a novice hurdle at Chepstow, he can be forgiven that run considering he broke a blood vessel during the race. He's had plenty of time to recover, so expect a big improvement. He should be more than capable of hitting the frame here while giving the market leaders plenty to think about.
Our back bet is American History in the 14:40 at Lingfield who has been well backed from 7.06/1 into 5.79/2. The High Chaparral gelding arrives having finished runner up on two of his three runs, showing signs of progression in each. However, today's task looks much easier. Market leader Fashion Business is seemingly the only danger. With racecourse experience on his side and Ryan Moore on board, American History should give a bold account of himself.
Finally, our lay bet is Brio Conti in the 16:25 at Doncaster who has drifted from 2.3411/8 out to 3.412/5. The Dom Alco gelding attempts to break his maiden on the fourth time of asking arriving here on the back of a tame effort at Cheltenham's December meeting. He looks up against it today with consistent market support coming for Wenyerreadyfreddie and Daras Present. Likely to be at the head of affairs under Sean Bowen, he will be there to be shot at in the later stages, with the market rivals ready to come through to pick up the pieces.
