Today's Follow The Money selections run at the Curragh and Limerick...
We start with our back bet of the day, where G Force has been attracting a lot of support in the 14:40 at he Curragh, a listed race over 6f. Matched as high as 5.85/1, he is currently trading at 3.65. He's struggled for form since winning the Sprint Cup at Haydock two years ago but his fourth in the Ayr Gold may indicate he has now turned a corner. He looks on good terms today considering he's a Group 1 winner and the money would suggest he will get his career back on track.
Our lay selection runs in the 16:10 Limerick. Henry De Bromhead's Sub Lieutenant has been easy to back this morning - after being match as low as 2.0421/20, the gelding has drifted out to 2.767/4, and the stable has been in good form of late so we would have expected the Gigginstown charge to be a lot stronger in the market. He is giving weight all round and it's his first run since April - the drift may indicate he may need the run and could be vulnerable to fitter rivals.
We close with our each-way selection, where we've seen some good money for Laws Of Spin in the Irish Cesarewitch (16:55 Curragh). Willie Mullins's 3yo has been backed into 9.28/1 from a high of 13.5. He looked every bit a stayer when picking up a decent handicap at Leopardstown in August and it looks like he's been put on ice for a crack at a bigger race. Lightly-raced and relatively unexposed at longer trips he could be a handicap good thing here. The stable won this last year and it looks like Laws Of Spin can make it two on the spin for Mullins.
Back G Force @ 3.65 in the 14:40 at Curragh
Lay Sub Lieutenant @ 2.767/4 in the 15:50 at Limerick
Back Laws Of Spin each-way @ 9.28/1 in the 16:55 at Curragh
