The Follow The Money team are off to Chelmsford for today's three FTM selections...
The Card begins at 12:50 with a 1 mile maiden, and this is where we find our lay of the day. Bois De Boulogne leads the market, but there has been little confidence in the John Gosden-trained two-year-old. Having earlier attracted support at 1.9520/21, he is now on the drift out to 2.245/4 and this trend may well continue. There are also some notable rivals in the field, Naseem was third on debut and should be better for the run, whilst Shamrokh and Olive Branch also look strong contenders. These factors combine to make Bois De Boulogne a very tempting lay at 2.245/4.
We move on to the 14:20, the feature race of the day, to find our each-way selection. The seven furlong Conditions Stakes looks to be a high quality affair, however the Martyn Meade-trained C Note looks to be an each-way gift at 10.09/1, as the gelding makes its debut on the polytrack. With David Probert in the saddle, this could be his time to shine. He has attracted some early market support having been 12.5 earlier today, and we think the market is correct to have confidence here.
We have to wait for the last race of the day for our back selection. The 15:50 race looks to be an intriguing event, and the booking of George Baker on the well handicapped Whaleweigh Station is definitely worthy of note. The market has shown a touch of support nudging it in from 7.613/2 to 6.411/2 and we may see this support gather pace.
Lay Bois De Boulogne @ 2.245/4 in the 12:50
Back C Note Each-way @ 10.09/1 in the 14:20
Back Whaleweigh Station to win @ 6.411/2 in the 15:50
