Today's Follow the Money comes from the meeting Chelmsford City.
"Back to a more suitable trip of 7f last time at Kempton, Lupo Doro looked better than ever with a creditable second. He drops into class six company so there will be no excuses today."
We kick things off with our lay which can be found in the 13:10 6f Apprentice Handicap where Kyllach Me has been a considerably weak favourite 2.021/1 out to 2.486/4. Brian Smart's gelding makes his Polytrack debut today after notching up a career best effort last time at Wolverhampton when winning by a neck. It was a close finish that day and he is up 2lbs for that effort so today will be no easy task. Support for Compton Prince and Burauq adds a bit of fire to this hot handicap affair.
Next up is our win recommendation. Money has poured in for Lupo Doro, who has moved from 3.8514/5 in to 3.02/1 in betting on the 13:45 7f Handicap. Twice a winner on the flat, this consistent gelding trained by Jim Best is never far away. Back to a more suitable trip of 7f last time at Kempton, Lupo Doro looked better than ever with a creditable second. He drops into class six company so there will be no excuses today.
Finishing off with our each-way selection in the 14:50 5f Handicap where there has been plenty of money for Come On Dave 10.519/2 in to 6.25/1. Recently running on the sand at Southwell, this course and distance winner is 2lbs lower than last time when he won here back in march. He will need to produce a better effort than he has of late - he has not finished in the top three in his last eight starts. But with the weight off his shoulders Come on Dave should be powering home as we have seen many of times.
Lay Kyllach Me @ 2.486/4 in the 13:10 at Chelmsford
Back Lupo Doro @ 3.02/1 in the 13:45 at Chelmsford
Back Come On Dave each-way @ 6.25/1 in the 14:50 at Chelmsford
