Today's Follow The Money comes from Monday afternoon's meetings at Catterick and Wolverhampton...
Our lay of the day comes from Catterick in the 14:10 3m1f Nov Hrd where favourite Yes I Did has been on the drift this morning, from 1.748/11 out to 1.981/1. The selection placed in a trio of bumpers and is two from three over hurdles this term, including a good win at a small-field event at Sedgefield on Tuesday, but this outing should prove far more difficult for her. She carries a double penalty here and steps up in trip, while market rival Kilas Girl looks a real danger on her return, with Richard Johnson taking the ride.
We move to Wolverhampton and the 14:50 1m Mdn Stks where newcomer Beauly has seen some very positive market movement, from 2.829/5 to 2.186/5. She is the half-sister to winners Gusto and Pinter and the daughter of Sea The Stars. Luke Morris is a smart booking to take the ride on her debut and this looks to be a good opportunity to make a winning start in what looks like a relatively ordinary contest. The market confidence seems telling and we recommend a back of Beauly today.
Concluding today's picks is our each way selection. It comes from Wolverhampton in the 16:20 1m1f Hcap where Whispering Warrior has been well backed this morning, from 12.011/1 in to 8.07/1. He missed last year but returned impressively finishing second at Lingfield last month showing he still possesses plenty of ability. He was slightly disappointing on Thursday at Chelmsford but that was mainly due to the way the race panned out tactically. Assuming something similar doesn't occur today then he should be a big player.
