The markets have been reviewed, and today's three Follow The Money selections come from the meetings at Catterick and Punchestown...
The lay of the day comes at Catterick in the 16:00 Handicap, where Dundunah has seen a lack of support and can now be matched at 3.613/5. This filly has had quite a modest start to her career and has yet to get a win under her belt. There has however been a significant drift on her chances today, and now sent handicapping for the first time, it's unknown of how she'll perform, but the market indication is as good a reflection of her chances as any.
Our win selection comes from the 16:20 2m4f Hurdle at Punchestown, where Minella Till Dawn has been well supported and fancied to make amends for falling last time out in a race won by Al Boum Photo (see each-way selection) who also runs on the card today. Gordon Elliott's gelding had every chance when falling, and with the trainer keen to wrap up the trainer's title this week, we feel he'll be primed for this occasion and looks a great win bet at the current odds of 3.7511/4. In a very competitive affair with the unreliable Battleford, Minella Till Dawn has a great chance to help hand Elliott the crown at the end of the week, and the man himself gives him a good shout too in today's column.
Our each-way selection involves the aforementioned Al Boum Photo in the 16:55 who is threatening to give Elliott a bit of a headache by increasing Willie Mullins' chances of stealing the trainer's championship. An impressive winner last time out at Fairyhouse and likely to continue to be progressive, he may look to be outclassed and a bit soon to be taking a Grade 1, but market support is there, and with the yard in form, he looks to be solid each-way value at his current trading price of 10.09/1.
Lay Dundunah to win @ 3.613/5 in the 16:00 at Catterick
Back Minella Till Dawn @ 3.7511/4 in the 16:20 at Punchestown
Back Al Boum Photo EW @ 109/1 in the 16:55 at Punchestown
