Today's Follow the Money comes from Lingfield and Doncaster.
"Our final back comes in the 17:25 at Doncaster where Harveys Hope has been backed off the boards, halving in price from 9.08/1 in to 4.3100/30."
We start the day with a back of Total Demolition who bids for a hat-trick of wins in the 14:20 at Lingfield. More than half the money on the market has seen him shorten from 4.57/2 in to 3.711/4. The horse escapes a penalty for a success here earlier this week and the step back down in trip to 7f shouldn't be an issue having won at this distance prior to that last run. Jockey Aaron Jones retains the ride and we're hoping Total Demoltion can make it three from three over the all-weather surface.
The lay of the day comes in the 14:50 at Lingfield where Lupo Doro has eased in the market from 2.789/5 out to 2.982/1. John Best's charge finally ended a long losing streak when winning nicely at Kempton last time out. That win has come at a cost of a 5lb rise in the weights from the handicapper, which could hamper his chances. Hamoody and Pharoh Jake are both course and distance winners who are knocking on the door and with Shamahan halved in price, we think Lupo Doro could find things tough today. A lay is the call.
Our final back comes in the 17:25 at Doncaster where Harveys Hope has been backed off the boards, halving in price from 9.08/1 in to 4.3100/30. His last win was a course and distance success here back in 2013. Keith Revelry's nine-year-old holds a decent record at this track, winning once and placing four times. After a lengthy lay off his form has been disappointing but as a result is now 12lb better off from his last winning mark and this could be an excellent opportunity to get back to winning ways.
