Today's Follow The Money movers come from the meetings at Wetherby and Nottingham
Our first mover is today`s negative in Wetherby`s 14:20 maiden hurdle where Don't Take Me Alive has been easy to back having drifted out from an early 2.26/5 to 2.747/4. A no-more-than-average middle distance handicapper on the flat for Clive Cox, this one ran a reasonable enough race on his debut over timber for new trainer Charlie Longsdon at Market Rasen. Although that contest was probably stronger than today's he was still beaten over 12 lengths so could hardly be considered short price material this afternoon with 13 rivals to beat.
To Nottingham for the next selection and the 14:40 race where there has been some interest in Albasharah from 15.014/1 in to 7.26/1. The Godolphin three-year-old filly who makes her racecourse debut this afternoon is a half sister to two winners including the useful White Moonstone. Jockey bookings today suggest she is the owner's second string however the market currently suggests otherwise so looks one to keep an eye on.
Back to Wetherby for our final selection where African Broadway has been the subject of decent support in the 17:00 contest having been backed in to 2.447/5 from 4.84/1. David Pipe's six-year-old was a fairly useful novice hurdler last season when winning twice before his form tailed off. Given a break since March, the market suggests that a big run is expected for his chasing debut this afternoon.
