Timeform on West To Crosseagles

14:20 - WEST TO CROSSEAGLES (6) has returned an improved form in recent weeks, hitting the frame in both of his starts this term, and there's surely a race to be won with him at his level. Raised just 1 lb for his most recent effort at Southwell, he gets the vote to score. Fifty Shades is an unexposed stayer, while this trip is far more suitable for Emmas Dilemma and she hasn't been with Olly Murphy long.

14:50 - PRINCETON ROYALE (1) gained a deserved success at Stratford last time, having hit the frame in four starts prior. He's been raised 5 lb for that success, but still appeals as the most solid option in this. Easy Street is another who scored last time out, but will find life tougher under a penalty, whilst Hedgeinator is perhaps the biggest threat.

15:25 - ARTFUL ARTIST (1) has only shown fair form over hurdles in Ireland, but it is still the best on offer this race. He's an interesting recruit for the Dr Richard Newland yard, who generally get at least one win out of runners bought cheaply from other yards, and he gets a confident vote to score with Sam Twiston-Davies booked. Haafapiece mightn't be far away if he can put his latest run behind him.

15:55 - LE PRECIEUX (2) again shaped better than the result suggested when finishing sixth on chase debut at Warwick last time, pressing on from a long way out before folding two from home, and he is starting to look attractively handicapped bearing in mind his French form. Ballycamp is preferred to Gin And Tonic for the forecast.

16:25 - BISOUBISOU (8) scored over C&D in January, and she gets the vote to return to form here having produced a creditable effort last time. The Neil King trained-pair Canford Thompson and Dizzey Heights head up the opposition.

16:55 - YOUNGOCONNOR (1) can follow up her Huntingdon win under a penalty. Midnight Bliss has been mopping up point to points and is an interesting contender on her handicap chase debut.
