Timeform on Rocky's Treasure

14:05 - COLLODI (3) was productive over the summer, picking up a win at Market Rasen in July, and he shaped as if better for the run after 7 weeks off after Stratford last time, making the running before fading on the run-in. He's a likeable type, and heads here just 1 lb higher than for that win at Market Rasen, so he looks a safe bet to capitalise on a good opportunity in a race where few make appeal. Excellent Result looks well treated dropping in grade if he's able to mount a revival.

14:35 - Richard Johnson is really starting to tighten his grip on the Jockeys Championship, and he looks to have another good ride in this in the form of MILES TO MILAN (1), who made a winning start to his chasing career at Ayr in May. That effort over fences eclipsed anything he did over timber, and considering he suggested that he was the type to do better still yet, it would be no surprise should Olly Murphy squeeze a little bit of improvement out over the smaller obstacles. Of the others, I See You Well and Canyon City can give him most to think about.

15:10 - Another small field affair for ROCKY'S TREASURE (3), who won a match in good style on his chase debut at Kelso a fortnight ago, ultimately seeing off his one rival easily on the day, winning by 15 lengths. There looks to be plenty more to come from him in this sphere, and he can go in again at the main expense of the quirky Cultivator.

15:40 - Six runners are due to head to post for this, but in reality it all revolves around MON PORT (1), who looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to pick up his second win on the bounce over hurdles. He was a comfortable winner on hurdling debut and Huntingdon in May and in form terms he is a long way clear of these. Fearsome could be the one to chase him home.

16:10 - BALLYKAN (3) has slipped to a workable mark, and he was a good second when last seen in a hot handicap at Kempton in February, getting headed just before the final flight. This is less competitive, and he gets the vote to make a winning return provided that he's ready to go on reappearance. Actinpieces won this last year and is the most likely to chase the selection home.

16:45 - GENERAL CUSTARD (1) showed improved form to get off the mark at Wetherby 15 days ago, going on at the home turn and well on top at the last. He looks open to more improvement, particularly now that he's stepped up to two and a half miles, and Richard Johnson is once again booked to take the ride. The champion jockey is in fine form at the moment, as is Olly Murphy, and the pair get the vote to combine once again.
