Timeform take you through the card at Exeter on Sunday...
"He has only been raised 1 lb for that effort and remains one to be interested in..."
14:00 - BLU CAVALIER (2) won a bumper for Alex Dunn back in November 2015, and made a very encouraging start for this yard when finishing runner-up to a tremendous prospect in If The Cap Fits on his hurdling debut over this C&D in October. He hasn't been seen since, but he's in excellent hands, and will prove hard to beat if building on that here. Samburu Shujaa looks the obvious form danger and should also give a good account.
14:30 - MERCENAIRE (3) had his limitations exposed somewhat in Grade 1 company last time, but he's by no means one to give up on at this sort of level and he is preferred to Vision des Flos French-recruit Djingle. The former failed to land the odds last time and is now equipped with a tongue tie, while Djingle has some fairly useful form in France, and has joined a top yard ahead of his British debut.
15:05 - PRESENT MAN (9) had his winning run ended at Chepstow last time, but was unlucky to bump into an improver, and is fancied to quickly get back on the up here. They finished a long way clear of anything else, and Present Man travelled better than most, just unable to get on terms with the winner in the straight. He has only been raised 1 lb for that effort and remains one to be interested in.
15:35 - CLOUDY BOB (8) was clearly revived by a change of scenery when winning going away at Taunton last week and, for all this is a sterner test, his revival for a yard enjoying a fine season may not have reached its ceiling yet. Fletchers Flyer and Harry Topper have both been given a chance at the weights and are next best.
16:10 - RAMSES DE TEILLEE (5) is improving fast as a chaser and he holds sound claims on these terms. He was an impressive winner on his chasing debut, and got back to winning ways in good style at Chepstow last time. There was plenty to like about that performance and is taken to be too good for Elegant Escape, who made hard work of it in Grade 1 company last time but has to be feared.
16:40 - RAYVIN BLACK (4) gets the vote in a cracking novice chase. He bettered his useful hurdles form when just failing at Leicester last month and looks a winner waiting to happen in this sphere. Le Rocher is proving most likeable and won't give up his unbeaten status over fences lightly, while Verni was second in last season's Martin Pipe and is an interesting runner.
17:10 - TIME TO MOVE ON (1) created a good impression when making a winning start to his career over C&D in December and looks more than capable of defying a penalty. Fontwell runner-up Bang On will perhaps be the one to follow him home unless the market speaks strongly in the favour of newcomers Gaucho Gil and/or Just Midas.
