Saturday evening's UK racing comes from Doncaster

We are off to Doncaster in search of Placepot glory tonight...

"Aledaid didn’t look the most straight forward last time at Lingfield when failing to negotiate the bend, but he remains in top hands and may find life easier on this straight course."

18:05 - Rochambeau may not be the easiest of rides, but he has ran well on successive occasions now for Ruth Carr and should give his running again today in what looks a less competitive race than the one he placed in at Thirsk last time. Cloud Monkey should also be included as he may have something more to give even after a 6lb rise in the weights after his Catterick win last time.

18:40 - Betty the Thief is the interesting one here on handicap debut after shaping with promise on her first start for Ed Walker last time out, with the step up in trip looking a positive move on pedigree.

19:10 - There are a few promising horses on show in this maiden, not least Valko, who is a half-sister to the high-class Cape Cross and is sure to improve from her debut effort at Haydock.

19:40 - Fleeting Strike looks a different class to some of these and should be able to get off the mark at the fifth attempt now back in maiden company.

20:15 - Aledaid didn't look the most straight forward last time at Lingfield when failing to negotiate the bend, but he remains in top hands and may find life easier on this straight course. Although The Hooded Claw's best efforts have come on softer ground than he is likely to encounter here tonight he could also be worth chancing for a place on his debut for the Simon Crisford yard who have had plenty of early success with new recruits.

20:45 - Best Kept made a winning debut for Roger Varian and there could well be further improvement to come after just a small rise in the weights. Show Boating is another to have improved for a change of scenery and he showed he has more to give of this sort of mark when finishing fast at Chester after having to challenge from an impossible position.

Recommendations:
18:05 - 3,7
18:40 - 3
19:10 - 9
19:40 - 5
20:15 - 3,10
20:45 - 2,8
