12:55 - A tight handicap, but ALWAYS RESOLUTE's (5) Wetherby success was boosted no end when the runner-up bolted in next time so, having acquitted himself well in a fairly strong race at Ascot next time, Ian Williams' representative could get back to winning ways in a slightly weaker affair. Its'afreeebee, who's been revived by Richard Spencer on the Flat, looks an interesting contender back over timber, while Chebsey Beau's profile means he's one to take on here.
13:30 - Impossible to see past leading Arkle candidate DYNAMITE DOLLARS (1) who can notch a third success at Graded level. He proved he can concede weight to decent horses when giving Kalashnikov 5 lb and a beating at Kempton last time, and should do the same again here against lesser rivals. Ballywood progressed again when taking a small-field C&D handicap over Christmas and is taken to fill the forecast spot.
14:05 - Another Paul Nicholls-trained runner gets the nod here. TRUCKERS LODGE's (4) efforts in Chepstow handicaps on his last two starts represent good form and he can take the step up to Grade 2 level in his stride if as effective on this faster surface. Last month's C&D winner Commodore Barry is another heading in the right direction and can give the Ditcheat runner most to think about.
14:40 - The nine-year-old mare LADY BUTTONS (1) has looked better than ever this term, landing each of her three starts over hurdles/fences in recent weeks. She looks sure to go well again and can successfully concede weight all around. Irish Roe is better than she could show latest and is feared, ahead of the unexposed Uttoxeter winner Indefatigable.
15:15 - Favourite DINGO DOLLAR (5) travelled like one ahead of his mark for a long way in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury and, back over slightly shorter, is fancied to enhance Alan King's good recent record in this race. A Timeform 'Horse In Focus', he gets the nod ahead of Warriors Tale who went close in this last year and looks primed for another bold bid after his Grand Sefton win. Willie Boy is on the up for his new yard and is also of interest now tackling 3m for the first time, while last year's close-up fifth Federici is respected at the foot of the weights.
15:50 - A tightly-knit handicap (only 4 lb separates the five runners on weight-adjusted Timeform ratings), but LORD COUNTY (2) looks open to further improvement now stepping up in trip so gets the vote. Top-weight Mahlermade can fill the runner-up spot once again, having finished second at Taunton the last twice.
16:25 - The well-bred NONESUCH seems sure to build on her opening third (green/outpaced) at Ludlow last month and can take this. The step up in trip should suit this half-sister to four winners, including the useful hurdler/fairly useful chaser N'oublie Jamais (winner up to 21f). Hotter Than Hell would be a big threat if bouncing back to her debut form, with Carlisle runner-up Redbridge Gold looking the other key player.
