14:00- It's difficult to construct a solid case for any of these, but Maldivian Reef is in very capable hands and stamina will be his forte, so he appeals as the most likely winner. We won't take any chances, though, so will add the standard-setting Rock of Ages, even if his jumping remains a concern.
14:30- Dell' Arca was the best of these by some way over hurdles and has shown promise on both starts over fences. He should be extremely difficult to beat and represents banker material.
15:00- Susie Sheep showed only modest form in bumpers last year, but she's improved with each start over hurdles and has finished runner-up the last twice. There's no reason to think she won't progress again, and she looks to hold solid claims once again.
15:35- Likely favourite Taylor could have more to offer over hurdles, but this will be much tougher than the simple tasks she's faced the last twice, so it could be worth siding with Jayo Time and Flying Light. Jayo Time has been much improved since joining this yard, winning handicap hurdles at Wincanton and Market Rasen in good style last autumn. He's posted respectable efforts since returning from a winter break and ought to be on the premises. Flying Light bounced back to his best to score at Exeter in March and has posted creditable efforts in defeat both starts since. He's likely to take a hand again and is a good type to have on side in the Placepot.
16:10- The fact just four go to post makes things tricky from a Placepot perspective as finding the winner is required to progress. It's difficult to rule any of the quartet out, so we'll play the percentage call by including all four.
16:45- Billy My Boy was found a soft opening when getting off the mark at Newton Abbot 17 days ago, but he could do no more than score easily, and is the most likely winner again.
14:00- 3, 5
15:35- 3, 9
16:10- 1, 2, 3, 4
