We head to Windsor for a crack at scooping the Placepot on Tuesday...
"Little Palaver got off the mark at Kempton earlier this month and as the handicapper has yet to take a view on that performance, he could be well treated enough to be involved in the finish..."
13:00 - We kick off proceedings with a six-furlong maiden and the first to get the nod is Navigate. He sets a fairly useful standard having been a model of consistency on his three starts thus far and can use that experience to run well again. Nortron makes plenty of appeal on paper and showed signs of significant encouragement when sixth on his debut at York. These look calmer waters and he can make his presence felt too.
13:30 - It's another maiden, this time over a mile under consideration next and Magic Dancer is hard to ignore. He only just failed to make a winning debut over C&D three weeks ago and with Ralph Beckett's string in good order currently, he justifies being a sole selection to keep the perm alive.
14:00 - It will be another single selection in the handicap over the same trip which follows in the shape of Geordan Murphy. He is a recent C&D winner and has come in for enough support on his handicap debut to suggest he could be well treated, and it would be no surprise to see him make a winning start in this sphere.
14:30 - Given the generally progressive profile of So Noble he looks the only one worth keeping on side in the second division of the 14:00, so is another sole selection. His comfortable win over C&D last week followed a decent success at Chepstow and the handicapper looks unlikely to have got to grips with him yet. He can get the hat-trick up and keep us rolling on.
15:00 - It's a six-furlong nursery up next and the first to keep on side is Winning Hunter, who upped his game considerably when runner up in a heavy-ground C&D maiden two weeks ago. As a result we know he will handle the ground and looks capable of going one better on what could be a very fair opening mark. Little Palaver got off the mark at Kempton earlier this month and as the handicapper has yet to take a view on that performance, he could be well treated enough to be involved in the finish as well.
15:30 - The final leg of today's perm is a ten-furlong handicap and the first to get the nod is Space Walker. He pretty much picks himself given he was runner-up over C&D from this mark last week, and providing he is in the same form he must be included. The other to get the nod is Art Scholar, who looks to be back on a winnable mark and down in class, and certainly has the ability to capitalise if on a going day.
