We take you through the card at Uttoxeter on Friday.
"A couple of last-time winners are among this field, but they remain typical low-grade sorts and there is a temptation at the prices to go with Mr McGregor..."
12:10 - A virtual write-off of a race to start with. Perceus is long odds-on after beating the rest comfortably in a Market Rasen juvenile won by a promising Ferguson charge. His two rivals have offered nothing meaningful over hurdles.
12:40 - A couple of penalty-carriers, Hollywood All Star and Transient Bay, dominate an otherwise low-key affair. There's no obvious reason for Transient Bay to be so far clear as favourite, so there's a temptation to go for Hollywood All Star.
13:10 - Truckers Highway is clearly to be respect seeking a hat-trick, though there's a price at which Big Jim becomes backable against him and 4.03/1 isn't far off it. He's a chaser on looks and was caught out by the trip here last time. His yard are now going a little better, too.
13:45 - Baywing deserves to be odds-on, and even a disparity like the one that exists between him and squiggle-bearer Extreme Impact is hard to reconcile such is the latter's attitude.
14:20 - Not even juvenile entrant Sweet Midnight makes much appeal against morning favourite Georgieshore, who was just beaten at Leicester last time and now has Paddy Brennan's assistance to call upon.
14:55 - A couple of last-time winners are among this field, but they remain typical low-grade sorts and there is a temptation at the prices to go with Mr McGregor, who is unexposed but has some solid form at this sort of level and made an encouraging reappearance at Plumpton late last month.
15:30 - This bumper is a match, albeit an interesting one between Templeross and Three Ways. The first-named is popular this morning, though Three Ways has winning form on testing ground and has joined Jamie Snowden so, if anything, we'd have them the other way around.
